Please implement swimlanes on project boards. Swimlanes would help provide clear distinctions between features, departments, and so on, to ensure that work on tasks is much more streamlined, smooth, and clear.
Adding Parent Cards suggestion New
Usually a feature set is broken up into multiple smaller features which take up multiple sprints. For example "allow multiple users to edit documents" is a feature set that is typically broken up into smaller more digestible cards that are tackled across multiple sprints. It would be useful to be able link the individual sprint cards (i.e. the feature card) to the larger card (the definition of the feature set), so that progress of the overall feature can be updated as each task in the sprints is completed.
Contrasting colors for visualy impaired users suggestion New
HeySpace should be more accesible for users who are visually impaired. More contrasting colors to choose for board backgrounds and cards can do that. There should me more colors for wider personalization and maybe some background images.
Offline editing in phone app suggestion New
Please make it possible to edit boards and calendars while the app is offline. Currently (at least on iPhone), the app won't allow editing until after it has synced with your servers. This makes it impossible to edit on the go, when weak or no signal prevents this syncing. For me, the app would be much more useful and enjoyable if it would let me edit things whenever I need, even if syncing has to wait until signal returns. Thanks.
Tracking individual tasks question New
I find your program very useful to track the tasks of all my employees, but find it very difficult to track and individuals tasks.
I have set up Lists of To Do, In progress and completed for each of the companies we service.
The problem my employees have is that they struggle to keep track of the tasks assigned to them if they click on their name under team.
They will have 15 companies with tasks for each of these companies under work in progress but have 15 work in progress lists.
Am i missing the solution here?
thank you for your feedback!
The first hint is if you hover on the planet near List name you will see the name of a Space.
You could use a Calendar view in private conversations, different Spaces have different colors so might be easier. Or a List view in a Calendar?
Unfortunately, there is no other view for you to use. We are working on global Calendar but in this case, it might not be helpful.
I will try to think about other ways to solve your issue. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
Ability to archive tasks in iOS app suggestion New
Thanks for all your work on this very nice app. I've been trying to find a way to archive a task in the iOS app and so far, can't see it. If it's not implemented yet, adding this would be very helpful!
Many thanks :)
Default view preference for spaces and team members suggestion Accepted
Currently, it seems that the OSX app spaces default to the last open view, and the team members default to chat view. The iOS app seems to default to chat view in all cases. It would be very useful to be able to choose which views open by default.
Audio calls on channels suggestion New
The ability to have audio calls on channels. They should work like Ryver, which works the same as discord except discord has audio-only channels seperate to text-only channels. Ryver allows audio on the text channels (ie hybrid). It should be as simple as hopping onto a channel's audio like yuo do in discord/ryver.
If we had this, we would be able to use hey.space as our "all in one" app. Currently we use hey.space and discord we use for voice calls.
Reference a Space in Chat suggestion Backlog
As a user I would like to point my audience to other spaces, may be a nice tool for moderation of a chatty team (myself included)
Given we have a Space called Developers, I'd like to do:
Let's continue our chat in #Developers
Card list is not very effective. suggestion New
Currently, I would like for the card list that has been assigned to a certain person to show more information or be customizable.
For example, in card list, I cannot see which project a certain card is under.
It would make sense to me that I have a good overview of tasks that have been assigned to me, and which projects those tasks belong to. Sadly currently that is not the case.
Why is this annoying? Well, I might have tasks under 10+ different projects and I am told that projects A and B should be a priority this week. Soi have to go to the card list and manually select tasks until I find card that is under project A.
